Today we're shipping Conversation Grid View — a new way to see and manage all your AI-powered workspaces from a single, beautiful interface.

The Problem: Tab Overload

You're working on three features, two bug fixes, and reviewing a colleague's PR. Each has its own workspace, its own conversation with Claude, its own context. To check on any of them, you need to:

  1. Click through to the workspace list
  2. Find the right workspace
  3. Wait for it to load
  4. Remember what you were doing there

Multiply that by every context switch, and you're spending more time navigating than coding.

The Solution: Grid View

Click the grid icon next to any repository, and you'll see all your workspaces as cards in a clean grid layout. Each card shows:

  • Conversation title — What you're working on
  • Branch name — Which code branch this workspace is tied to
  • PR status — If there's an open PR, see its CI status at a glance
  • Last activity — When you or Claude last interacted
  • Message preview — The most recent exchange

No more hunting through lists. Everything you need to know, visible immediately.

Send Messages Without Leaving

Here's where it gets interesting: you don't have to leave the grid to interact with your workspaces.

Click any card to expand it. You'll see the last 10 messages in the conversation, plus an input box. Type your message, hit send, and watch Claude's response stream in — complete with visual feedback.

The card's border animates while Claude is thinking:

  • Rotating gradient when Claude is generating a response
  • Pulsating amber when waiting for your input

When you need the full workspace experience, one click takes you there. But for quick questions, status checks, or follow-ups, the grid view has you covered.

Visual Status at a Glance

We've designed the grid to give you information density without clutter:

  • CI status badges show green/red/yellow right on the card
  • Unread indicators highlight workspaces that need attention
  • Generating animations show which workspaces are actively processing
  • Timestamp shows relative time since last activity

You can scan a dozen workspaces in seconds and know exactly which ones need your attention.

How to Use It

  1. Find the grid icon — It's next to each repository in your workspace list
  2. Click to open — The grid view slides in showing all workspaces for that repo
  3. Click any card — Expands it to show messages and input
  4. Send a message — Or click "Open in workspace" for the full view
  5. Click Back — Returns you to your normal view

The grid view is per-repository, so you see a focused set of related workspaces rather than everything at once.

What's Next

This is just the beginning. We're working on:

  • Quick actions — Archive, pin, and organize workspaces from the grid
  • Custom colors — Assign colors to workspaces for visual organization
  • Filters and search — Find the workspace you need even faster
  • Team views — See what your teammates are working on
